Meeting rooms at Chester Quaker Meeting House are available for hire to businesses, community groups and individuals. We welcome a wide variety of social, not-for-profit and charitable organisations, as well as private and commercial customers.
We’re a versatile, purpose built, city centre venue with four, easily accessible first floor rooms accommodating from two to eighty people in different layouts to suit a multitude of activities and events. Our Large Meeting Room easily hosts everything from public consultations to meditation classes whilst our three smaller rooms offer a range of features and prices to cater for meetings, interviews, classes and training sessions of all kinds. Each room can be configured to your requirements by our friendly, professional staff.
The building is easily accessible for wheelchair users with accessible toilet, baby-changing facilities, a lift to the first floor and hearing aid loops in all rooms.
Rooms are available Monday to Thursday from 9.00am to 9:30pm and Friday and Saturday 9.00am to 5.00pm. Bookings are charged per session (morning, afternoon, evening) regardless of length. Prices start at £22.
Hire of rooms includes use of the kitchens, which are fully equipped to provide drinks and light refreshments for groups of up to eighty. All rooms have projection screens with blackout facilities and some have white boards. We can also provide digital projector and flipcharts with paper and pens for a small extra charge.
The building is always staffed by a member of our friendly team of wardens who will be glad to show you around, give you further information and take a booking.
