You will need to have previous experience of partnership working and a broad understanding of the voluntary and community sector. Experience of actively promoting equality of opportunity with specific understanding of disability equality is also essential for both posts as are excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
MDF expects its staff to demonstrate commitment to its core values of Equity, Trust, Accountability and Innovation in the way they work with partners and stakeholders to positively influence policy and practices to remove the barriers that disable people.
Both posts are full time, 35 hours per week, with the core MDF team in Liverpool and will last in the first instance until September 2012. Annual holiday entitlement is 25 days plus 8 public holidays and 2 additional days. Each post attracts a 5% pension contribution.
