How to access funding for your project from WREN (Waste Recycling Environmental)

Waste Recycling Environmental (WREN) one of the UK’s leading environmental bodies distributing Landfill Tax in Cheshire are urging local community organisations, village halls and not for profit organisations to come forward and apply for grants from their Landfill Communities Fund.

Their presentation will be on general eligibility, project requirements and how to apply.

The types of projects WREN have already funded in Cheshire include
• improvements to and establishments of village halls and community buildings
• play areas
• public footpath improvements
• cycle routes
• community gardens
• nature reserves
• woodland improvements
• restoration to buildings and monuments of architectural interest

In addition you will receive advice from the Council’s External Funding Advisor and Disability Access Officer.
