The Charity Commission Endorse CCA’s Quality Systems

Cheshire Community Action (CCA) is proud to announce that the Charity Commission has formally endorsed its ACRE level 3 Quality Standard. ACRE or Action with Communities in Rural England, which is our national umbrella body, has developed a series of rigorous Quality Standards that give Rural Community Councils like CCA, a framework to improve the way it operates. We had already achieved the highest standard attainable under this system in summer 2009 and this endorsement by the Charity Commission is confirmation that the organisation continues to improve and develop.

The ACRE standards go into considerable detail when reviewing organisations. They cover everything from business planning to management of staff and volunteers. This achievement is all thanks to the hard work of the staff and Trustees at CCA.
