NWRCC

The North West Rural Community Councils (NWRCC) exists to:

•Advance the interests of rural residents in the region by influencing policy and strategy.
•Coordinate the delivery of community development support to rural communities by its member organisations.

It does this by offering a rurally focused response to consultations, representing rural interests in regional groups and forums and by seeking funding to deliver co-ordinated services to rural communities across the region.

The work of NWRCC has three themes:

1.Advocacy - to provide a regional voice for rural communities and the issues that affect their quality of life.
2.Regional Collaboration – to enable the RCCs to work together in order to build their quality and productivity, in support of their work with rural communities.
3.Project Delivery - to provide a structure through which the RCCs may work jointly in the provision of consultancy services and project delivery at regional and national level.
