SectorPlus is a Capacity Builders funded project. Its purpose is to encourage collaboration between all voluntary, community and faith organisations in Cheshire and Warrington, and to improve the delivery of their support services.
Collaboration may be in the form of
- Sharing office space, facilities and support
- Team building by determining what organisations do to achieve their aims and to share information
- Team building by working with people who have similar roles in different organisations to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Producing information packs and management tools that help organisations to provide a better service.
The information packs and tools are produced by people from the voluntary, community and faith sector who have specialist knowledge, working closely with the SectorPlus Co-ordinator to an agreed work plan. Cheshire Community Action has established a generous package of financial support to organisations who allow their staff to become involved with SectorPlus.

Members of your organisation can become involved in SectorPlus by informing the SectorPlus Co-ordinator
- what support services that you would like to see improved, and/or
- of any specialist knowledge that could be developed for the benefit of other organisations in the voluntary, community and faith sector, and/or
- allowing a member of your organisation to become involved with SectorPlus.
