Wren Communities Challenge
Cheshire Community Council have been gratified by the financial support that the waste recycling group WREN have provided and continue to provide.
For 2007 The Challenge will provide £1 million of funding to support community regeneration projects which will breathe new life into tired or rundown facilities and provide much needed new amenities.
Organisations are invited to bid for funding of between £75,000 and £250,000 for capital projects which will make a real difference to their community.
Such amenity projects could include:
- Recreational areas such as parks, community gardens or open green spaces
- Community centres or halls
- Play areas, skate parks or multi-use games areas
- Nature reserves, local conservation or environmental enhancements
