Cheshire Villages Quiz 2008-2009
The 2008/09 Cheshire Villages Quiz came to a fitting conclusion at Tattenhall Barbour Institute on Friday 15 May. Fourteen teams completed 6 rounds of questions, suitably refreshed at the half way stage by delightful refreshments provided by the hosts. Despite a concerted effort by the quizmaster and the other teams to create a shock result, the leaders throughout the quizzes from October, Croft, successfully negotiated a third successive victory in the quiz. North Rode and Upton finished second and third respectively. Pictures of the hard working teams and eventual winner are included below.
